The Coastal Animal Services Authority (CASA), was formed in 1995 and is governed  by  a  Joint Powers Authority (JPA), board of directors.  The agency provides animal sheltering and animal control services for each member. The JPA members include both the cities of San Clemente and Dana Point, with 1 Council Member from each city serving on the JPA Board of Directors.

WHEN AND WHERE DOES THE BOARD MEET?

Regular Meetings of the CASA JPA Board are conducted six times per year.  The meetings take place on the first Monday of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December.   Additional Regular Meetings may be called in accordance with the Brown Act

CASA JPA Board meetings are conducted at the City of San Clemente City Hall, located at 910 Calle Negocio, San Clemente, California, unless otherwise noticed pursuant to the Brown Act.

Regular, Adjourned Regular, and Special Meetings of the CASA Board shall be noticed pursuant to Brown Act requirements.
