I am a... offers the website visitor a starting point to finding what it is they are looking for. Some municipal sites use the navigational headings of Business, Resident or Visitor to direct users to the information they are looking for. This is a big departure from the familiar navigation of san-clemente.org, however we do realize the value of it and wanted to incorporate it into our new site. That is why "I am a..." was created. Coupled with the implementation of Mega Menus we have achieved three more navigational options with only the footprint of one.
