The San Clemente City Council established four districts for the purpose of electing City Council representatives for four-year terms, and also established the San Clemente Mayor will be elected at-large (by the entire city) for a two-year term.

The City Council adopted Map 120 as the final district map.

District elections will begin in November 2024 for the election of members of City Council representing Districts 3 and 4. In November 2026, the election of the Mayor by the entire city, and the election of members of City Council representing Districts 1 and 2 will occur.
