Los Molinos
Los Molinos Business District
The Los Molinos Business District is the oldest industrial area of town. Established when the City was founded, the District was originally at the far end of town. Though as the community grew, the Business District became very centrally located between the newer northern and eastern portions and the older southern and western areas. Today the District is a vibrant mix of small businesses providing a variety of services. Most well known for being a world wide hub for surf culture, the Los Molinos Business District has a variety of businesses to serve both local and regional needs. Programs and Incentives
The Los Molinos Business District currently has funds available for the successful and award winning Los Molinos Business District Façade and Site Enhancement Grant Program (LMBD Façade Grant). In the three year history of the program, there have been substantial improvements to facades and signage within the District. In addition to the funds provided by the City, for most projects, all related City fees are waived, allowing additional cost savings to be passed onto the business/property owners to promote more investment and enhancement in the District. Funds are available on a first come first serve basis, and funds are still available for this program, please contact the planning staff at (949) 361-6187.

Additional grants and District identification projects are currently being developed and will be available in the near future.
Business Association
At this time the Los Molinos Business District is a loose affiliation of business and property owners in the District. The District is actively organizing to create a more formal organization.
