Join the City of San Clemente in celebrating healthy choices, being drug-free, and community safety! The City’s annual Red Ribbon Parade & National Night Out event will take place on October 23, 2023, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the San Clemente Community Center located at 100 N. Calle Seville.
This free community event combines the national campaigns for Red Ribbon Week and National Night Out. The event will kick off with the annual Red Ribbon Parade, featuring the San Clemente High School Marching Alliance, Cheer and Dance teams, San Clemente elementary and middle schools, members of the San Clemente City Council, OC Sheriff’s Department, OC Fire Authority, and the Fun on the Run Truck. Spectators are welcome to cheer on the parade from the sidewalks along Del Mar. Parade participants and spectators are encouraged to wear red in support of a drug-free lifestyle!
The parade will conclude at the Community Center grounds and lead into the Pep Rally and National Night Out expo, which is intended to bring awareness of safety resources and celebrate public safety. We invite you to join us in this event and take this opportunity to engage with your local San Clemente deputies, members of the Orange County Fire Authority, local representatives from the US Border Patrol, and other safety-based community groups.
The National Night Out expo promises to be fun for the whole family with live demonstrations, activations from multiple departments with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, and equipment displays and demos from the Orange County Fire Authority.
