Civic Background: I volunteer for various San Clemente organizations, including the Casa Romantica, Ocean Festival, and the Friends of San Clemente Foundation. I graduated from the Leadership in San Clemente program in 2009, and am a member of the San Clemente Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Personal Note: I was born and raised in southern CA, and have lived in San Clemente since 1998. I am the Sales & Customer Service Manager for a local education company, and received degrees from the University of Denver & Chapman U. When not on the golf course, you can find me surfing, snowboarding, or cruising my 1966 Cadillac. I love giving back to the community that makes me feel at home wherever I go.

Civic Background: I am currently a trustee of the San Clemente Elks Lodge. I am a past President and Treasurer of IESNA(Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) San Diego Section. I have served on many Sub-Committees researching and reporting back to the Board of Directors with information and suggestions.
Personal Note: I have been playing golf at the San Clemente Municipal Golf Course for over 20 years. I am very proud of the SCMGC and would like to be a part of the continuing efforts to improve the golf course and clubhouse. Having lived in San Clemente for 42 years, I feel it is my civic duty to give back to the community that has given so much to my family and me.

Background:
My family has been in town since 1927 and myself since 1945. Started playing golf at the municipal course in 1956 and continued to play it through the years. First joined the men’s golf club in 1961 and served as the Secretary of the club for two years in the mid-eighties. Former member of the Exchange Club in the eighties and early nineties. Member of the Chamber of Commerce. Former Northwood High School golf coach in Irvine.
Personal Statement:
I have an insurance agency, Divel Insurance Agency, brokering in all lines of insurance, including: Life, Home, Auto, Annuities, Commercial Lines and Health Care. I’m a product of the old Capistrano Union High School and graduate of California State University at Los Angeles with a B.S. in Recreation Education.
I’m a former golf professional working locally at El Niguel C.C. as well as playing on the PGA Tour in the mid seventies.
