RALPHS SKATE COURT - 241 Avenida La Pata
|
This 14,000 square foot facility is located within the Richard T. Steed Memorial Sports Park. This is an unsupervised park, and is free to the general public to use.
The Skate Court is open daily from dawn to dusk, and is closed each Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for maintenance. Skateboarders are required to wear proper safety equipment while skating - Helmet, elbow and knee pads.
The city's Recreation Division offers quarterly Skateboard Classes, a Middle School Skate Team and a yearly Skateboard Tournament. For additional information about these programs call (949) 361-8264.

SC OPEN SKATEBOARD CONTEST
|
Held annually each September, the San Clemente Recreation Division and the Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Foundation co-sponsor the Annual Skateboard Contest at the San Clemente Ralphs Skate Court. This Skateboard Contest is open to all ages, male and female, amateur and sponsored. All skate participants including the professional skaters for the demo are required to wear the proper safety equipment: Helmet, knee and elbow pads. Other activities slated for this event are Professional Skateboard demonstrations, a vendor fair, food and beverages, entertainment and music, and community service information.
