Golf Division Service Description

MISSION STATEMENT
The Golf Division is responsible for maintaining, preserving, and operating the Municipal Golf Course. This includes 133 acres of landscaped area with 918 trees. The course also includes a pro-shop and restaurant/clubhouse that are operated by concessionaires under lease agreements with the City of San Clemente. The Golf Course has a reputation of being one of the finest municipal golf courses in California and one of the busiest courses in the nation. The Golf Course is operated seven days a week, 365 days a year and accommodates an average of 110,000 rounds of play each year. The quality level of maintenance on the course is "B" or above average on a scale of "A" through "F."
