Who owns our traffic signals?
The City owns the majority of the traffic signals within the City limits. However, traffic signals located by freeway onramps and offramps belong to CalTans.

Who control the signal's timing?
The Maintenance Services division's Electrical Section works in conjunction with the P.W. Engineering Division to set City owned traffic signal timing for the most efficient traffic flow. If you have concerns about specific traffic signal timing, please send an e-mail or call us at (949) 361-8317.
